The MasterCard Foundation has partnered with Michigan State University to provide comprehensive scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students in Sub-Saharan Africa. The university will receive $45 million in funding from the foundation to support 185 scholars in a nine-year program, which includes 100 four-year undergraduates and 85 master’s students.

MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program

The vision of the MasterCard Foundation Scholars program is to educate and develop bright and productive young people in Africa and developing countries who demonstrate the ethics of “performance” and who will contribute to the evolution of the continent.
